What you will learn?

Read a floor plan: scale, dimensions, walls, doors, windows and what the electrical work needs to take from it.
Calculate the minimum number of sockets and the lighting load of each room under NBR 5410, with heights and the bathroom restrictions.
Group points into lighting circuits, general-use socket circuits and specific-use socket circuits, and build the circuit schedule.
Wire and draw a single-pole switch, a three-way (Brazil: "paralelo") and a four-way (Brazil: "intermediário") switch, counting the conductors of each run.
Lay out conduits, choose the diameter by fill ratio and make the bill of materials with lengths.
Build the preliminary design in the site's Criador de Projetos and turn the result into a memorandum, a quote and a written scope.

About this course

People starting out in electrical work often quote "by eye": they count sockets from the site visit, guess the metres of wire and miss high or low. People who receive a floor plan often do not understand what is drawn on it. This course fixes both ends. You will read a floor plan with scale, dimensions and rooms; place sockets, light points and switches by the NBR 5410 rules (perimeter, area, heights, bathroom, kitchen); group the points into circuits; lay out conduits and check the fill ratio; and do the length and materials calculation that the site's Criador de Projetos Elétricos also does, knowing where it simplifies. In the last part, you build a preliminary design from scratch in the Criador, export the PDF and turn everything into a memorandum, a quote and a clear conversation with the client, with the scope in writing. There are 8 lessons with a 7-room example house from start to finish. The course does not train a designer or give the right to sign a project: the preliminary design is for planning and quoting; the executive project requires a site visit and a legally qualified professional.

Requirements

Have done EL3 or know how to size the conductor and circuit breaker of a circuit under NBR 5410 (current, cross-section, current-carrying capacity, grouping factor).
Know the distribution board, the RCD and the SPD (EL2) and the conductor colours (EL1).
A ruler or scale rule, a calculator and a floor plan (real, or the example house's, supplied in the course).
A computer or tablet with a browser for lessons 7 and 8; a free account on the E-Nogueira site.

FAQ

No. The course teaches you to make a preliminary design (pre-project) to plan and quote, and to understand a finished project. A signed executive project requires a professional legally qualified for the activity and, when the law, the city or the utility requires it, the technical-responsibility document (ART or TRT).
Drawing the plan, inserting the points and generating the preliminary design (circuits, materials, single-line diagram and labour estimate) is free, with an account on the site. Only the PDF export is paid, by PIX (Brazil's instant payment system); the price appears on screen before you pay.
No. The service entrance appears only as an interface: where your project starts. The entrance category, the connection request and the inspection follow the utility's standard and stay with the responsible professional.
Yes. The method (survey, place, group, lay out, measure, quote) is the same in any country. NBR 5410 is derived from IEC 60364. The number of points per room and the conductor colours are Brazilian: outside Brazil, check your local electrical code.
Yes. It is an E-Nogueira Academy certificate of completion. It proves that you took the course, but it does not replace professional qualification.
