What you will learn?

Read the daily curve, the module map and the alerts of a module-level monitoring system and recognize what is normal.
Calculate the expected generation for the month in the roof plane, the PR and the tolerance band, and separate weather from fault.
Diagnose remotely a module with low production and a system that is down or intermittent, using a decision tree.
Carry out the annual preventive visit: cleaning, mechanical inspection, torque, connectors, insulation, RCD, SPD and earthing.
Do basic thermography with an affordable camera and replace a microinverter with the system de-energized only where needed.
Build the O&M report and the recurring contract with scope, interval, SLA and price per kWp.

About this course

The microinverter system is installed. Now it has to generate for 25 years, and someone has to notice when it does not. This course teaches you to read module-level monitoring: the daily curve, the module map and the alerts. You calculate the expected generation for the month, compare it with the actual generation within a tolerance band and separate weather from fault. You diagnose remotely a module that produces less (shade, dirt, diode, connector, microinverter) and a system that is down or intermittent (grid, breaker, SPD, communication, overvoltage). In the field, you do the annual preventive visit with cleaning, mechanical and electrical inspection, torque, SPD and earthing; you use an affordable thermal camera; and you replace a microinverter with rapid shutdown working in your favor. At the end, you build the report and the O&M contract with scope, SLA and price per kWp. It does not cover maintenance of large string inverters or certified thermographic reports.

Requirements

Have completed SO3 (or master installation with microinverters, the serial number map and commissioning with measurements). SO4 helps you understand what the utility requires when something changes in the system.
Know how to use a multimeter, a clamp meter, an insulation tester (megohmmeter) and a torque wrench.
To climb onto the roof and work in the board: valid in-person NR-35 training (the Brazilian work-at-height standard) and NR-10 training (the Brazilian electrical safety standard). This course replaces neither.

FAQ

No. The course teaches you to read the screens that every module-level monitoring system has: daily curve, module map, history and events. Names and colors change from one manufacturer to another; the reading is the same. No brand is named.
The parts on expected × actual generation, cleaning, mechanical inspection, SPD, earthing and contracts apply to both. Module-level diagnosis and microinverter replacement are specific to MLPE. Maintenance of large string inverters is not covered.
You can read the monitoring, calculate the expected generation and decide when to call someone. You can also clean from the ground, with a pole and a soft brush. Climbing onto the roof and opening the board requires NR-35 and NR-10 and is left to a professional. Lessons 5 and 6 make clear where that line falls.
No. Lesson 6 teaches basic thermography, with an affordable camera, to find the hot module or connector and decide on the action. A formal thermographic report requires equipment, conditions and qualification that the course does not provide.
Yes. Reading the monitoring, the expected-generation calculation, the diagnosis tree, the replacement sequence and the logic of the contract apply anywhere. The standards cited are Brazilian; the international references are IEC 62446-1 and -2 (tests and maintenance), IEC TS 62446-3 (thermography) and IEC 61724-1 (performance monitoring). Also check the voltage range of your utility and the consumer law of your country.
