What you will learn?

Run UTP cable through conduit respecting the 100 m channel, the bend radius and the separation from power circuits.
Crimp RJ45 to the T568B standard, test with a tester and recognize the faults that only show up months later.
Size the switch's PoE power budget and the UPS runtime, with the rack earthed.
Build the IP plan (fixed IP or DHCP reservation, mask, gateway, DNS) and the installation map.
Install and configure IP cameras and NVR: ONVIF, continuous or motion recording, retention, virtual line, NTP and export.
Set up secure remote access (P2P, VPN, why to avoid port forwarding), hand over credentials and document the job with data protection (LGPD) and consumer law (CDC) in mind.

About this course

In SE1 you decided where each camera goes and how much disk the recording needs. Now it is time to execute. This course teaches the infrastructure that does not cause problems six months later: conduit, copper UTP cable, the distances in NBR 14565 (the Brazilian structured-cabling standard, derived from ISO/IEC 11801), separation from the power wiring, the RJ45 connector in the T568B standard and testing with a cable tester. You will build the rack with a PoE switch, calculate PoE power and UPS runtime, connect the earthing (grounding) and draw the network's IP plan. Then you install the cameras (mounting, sealing, angle, focus, infrared), add them to the NVR through ONVIF, configure recording, retention, motion detection and virtual line, and export a video with the correct time. At the end, you set up remote access without opening a port to the internet, hand over passwords the right way and close with an IP map, an image-use notice and a maintenance proposal. There are 8 short lessons with worked examples. VLAN appears at a basic level (what it is and when to use it; configuration is covered in SE5), and AI video analytics is left out.

Requirements

Have completed SE1 (or know how to read a coverage design and a storage calculation).
Basic tools: RJ45 crimping tool, UTP stripper, network cable tester, multimeter, drill, ladder.
A laptop or phone with a browser to configure cameras and the NVR.

FAQ

No. Lesson 4 teaches what is needed for a CCTV installation: IP address, mask, gateway, DNS and DHCP, with a ready-to-copy IP plan. VLAN appears at a basic level: what it is and when it is worth it. Configuring VLANs is a topic for SE5.
The focus is IP cameras with an NVR. Much of the cabling, rack, UPS and handover material applies to a DVR, but coaxial termination and baluns are not taught here.
Not in the sense of the standard. You will test the wire map and length with a simple tester. Certifying category performance requires a cable certifier and is outside the course. Lesson 2 explains the difference.
No. The screens change from manufacturer to manufacturer; the course teaches what to look for in any menu (ONVIF, NTP, retention, users, firmware) and the reason for each setting.
The course gives you the technical method and the handover documents. Work on an electrical circuit follows the rules of the electrical field (circuit de-energized, absence of voltage confirmed, NR-10 — the Brazilian electrical safety regulation — when applicable). Contract, invoice and the legal responsibilities of your business are yours. Check the local regulations where you work.
